Hi, it’s Naz — back from Europe after what can only be described as a magical trip to Sweden. My parents live there, so it was full of family time, good food, fresh strawberries picked straight from the field, and a few dreamy days in Stockholm revisiting all my favorite places (as listed in last week’s Substack).
Now I’m back in NYC, fighting off jet lag and — naturally — leaning into my Scandinavian style roots. After every trip to Sweden, I come back inspired to wear more Scandi brands. This time, that inspiration turned into actual purchases: a few easy, elevated pieces from Dagmar, Filippa K, and By Malene Birger that I’ll be living in this summer + an everyday essential from Svenskt Tenn. And of course — I never come back from Sweden without a few bags of Bilar. Non-negotiable.
Speaking of summer — I’m heading to Martha’s Vineyard next.
It’s a 35/10 — charming, easy, and just 45 minutes away from NYC ( by flight). If you haven’t been, I can’t recommend it enough.
A few must-visit spots while you’re there:
Menemsha Fish Market — for anything sea food related and the lobster roll moment
Chilmark Tavern — cozy, local, and always a good idea
The Farmers Market — come for the produce, stay for the energy (and baked goods)
This week’s edit includes a few things I picked up in Sweden (yes, they’re coming to the island — and no, still no maternity clothes in sight).
Bikini Top, Bikini Bottom, Dagmar Linen Pants, Dagmar Leather Rope Belt, BVLGARI charm ( hang this on a leather cord), Svenskt Tenn Computer Case, White Dress, Turtle Bag, Emerald Ring, Candy, Dagmar Sunglasses, Sunscreen(Pregnancy Safe), Filippa K Swimsuit(doubles as a top), Jelly Sandals, Dagmar Sheer Top
More soon — likely from a beach towel, with a Ghia in one hand and SPF in the other.
xx
