Barely Buttoned No. 5: A Little Obsessed
From silk dresses to Costa Rica getaways — a scroll full of current cravings.
Hi, it’s Naz — and first things first, Happy Mother’s Day to every mom out there. That includes dog moms, cat moms, plant moms, and the friend group mom. You’re doing amazing.
This week’s edit is a mix of what I’m obsessing over lately — things I’m wearing on repeat, new finds that just landed in my shopping cart, and dreamy places I’ve been longing to visit (especially now that NYC has decided to become Seattle).
The weather here has been moody — sunny one moment, a full downpour the next — so I’ve been spending a little more time inside... scrolling. Plotting. Saving. Adding to cart.
🧺 On Repeat
These are the pieces I’ve been living in lately — easy, elevated, and made to be worn again and again:
Lightweight knit sets for rainy days that still feel put-together
Flowy midi skirts paired with oversized button-downs
Sleek everyday hoops mixed with some bling bling
The fizzy drink I keep reaching for when I want that summer feeling
My favorite soft-brimmed baseball cap for dog walks and messy hair mornings
Scented candle I’m loving right now — plus my forever favorite match holder
Large Raffia Bag, Gold Hoop Earring, Ghia Fizzy Drink, Knitted Sweater, Knitted Pants, Dog Mom Hat, Butter Yellow Dress, Match Holder, Diamond Earrings, Loewe Candle, Fun Sandals, Ruffle Bag, Sheer Top, Denim Shorts
🛒 In My Cart
Some new finds I’m excited about (and possibly waiting at my door as we speak):
A large raffia shoulder bag that feels both city and seaside
A pair of shoes that brings sunshine energy, no matter what the forecast says
This butter-yellow silk dress is made for summer days (and still works with a barn jacket when the clouds roll in)
A pair of white denim shorts I plan to style with everything
A sheer long sleeve top that toes the line between flirty and functional with this under
The kind of bag that makes even basics feel styled
✈️ Places I’m Craving
Mallorca — for tiled courtyards, sun-drenched balconies, and slow market mornings with fresh florals and flaky pastries. Stay at Nobis Palma or Cap Rocat.
Ischia — Amalfi’s cooler, quieter cousin. Think thermal spas, lemon groves, and Aperol in hidden coves Stay at Mezzatorre Hotel.
Costa Rica — especially a stay at Hacienda AltaGracia — dreamy jungle luxury, cold plunge pools, and horseback rides through the clouds.
Jamaica — staying at GoldenEye, of course. Oceanfront bungalows, reggae rhythms, and saltwater swims at golden hour.
Where are you dreaming of going (or shopping) from this week? Hit reply and tell me. Next week: the packing edit inspired by my current travel wishlist.
xx
